Break The Mould was created by Corinne Hidar for the dancers of the Tampa Bay area. Her goal was to create a company for the dancers that, like her, never exactly fit the dancer “mould”. She wanted to create a space where individuals of all backgrounds, sizes, shapes and colors could celebrate their uniqueness through dance.

Corinne was born and raised in NJ and came to Tampa in 2015 to earn her BA in Dance at The University of Tampa. Since graduating she has performed commercially and with various companies in the Tampa area.

In addition to her performance career, Corinne earned her MFA from Reinhardt University and now serves as an adjunct professor at multiple colleges in the Tampa Bay area.
